Yes. Cabinet runs, drawer configurations, height of work surfaces, sink positions, cut-outs for equipment, and finish color are all specified per project. Loran has a standard module system, but the modules are sized and combined to fit your room rather than the other way around. If you need something outside the standard catalog (deeper drawers for cassette systems, a specific autoclave surround), we spec it as part of the order.

How long does the full process take?

Roughly 4-6 weeks: 3-4 weeks fabrication, plus 2-3 days on site for prep, install, and equipment integration. We can phase the install across two weekends if the practice needs to keep some operatories running. Out-of-hours work is possible — it costs more but it keeps the schedule intact.

Cabinet Design

Loran cabinets specified to your operatory dimensions, chair model, and delivery-unit position. Medical-grade laminate, antimicrobial surface, sealed edges, and integrated cable channels for foot-control and suction lines.

Instrument Storage

Drawer layouts built around how you set up: cassette trays, bur blocks, consumables, and PPE. Drawer dividers are configurable; tall drawers for handpiece stands; narrow drawers for cotton rolls and bibs. Adjustable shelving in tall units for stock rotation.

Sterilization Workflow

Cabinetry laid out for one-direction dirty-to-clean flow: receiving, ultrasonic, washer-disinfector, packaging, autoclave, and clean storage. Dedicated drop-zones and counter heights matched to the autoclave model so loading is at the right working height.

Equipment Integration

Cut-outs and mounting for intraoral X-ray heads, apex locators, curing lights, intraoral scanners, and amalgamators. Cable management routed inside the carcass with grommeted exits, and dedicated outlets for each device.

Survey & Specification

On-site measure-up of each room: wall lengths, plumbing and electrical positions, ceiling height, door swings. We finalize cabinet runs, drawer layout, finish color, and hardware choice during this visit.

2-3 hours

Fabrication

Cabinets are built to spec at the Loran factory. Lead time is typically 3-4 weeks from order confirmation. We confirm finish samples and hardware before the order is released to production.

3-4 weeks

Site Preparation

Wall blocking added where cabinets carry weight, plumbing and electrical roughed to the marked positions, floor protection laid, and existing casework removed if it is a refit.

4-6 hours

Cabinet Installation

Carcasses set, leveled, and anchored to wall blocking. Doors and drawers hung, soft-close mechanisms adjusted, countertops laid and seamed, kick plates and fillers cut to fit. Sealant runs along all wall and floor junctions for hygiene.

1-2 days

Equipment Integration

X-ray arms, scanners, curing lights, and amalgamators mounted. Cabling routed and tested. Drawer organizers and accessory racks fitted. Function check on every drawer, door, lock, and outlet before sign-off.
