Dental practice consultancy for UK owners opening, refurbishing or extending a practice or lab: nine advisory services covering layout, engineering, compliance and the technical decisions in between.
Dental practice consultancy for owners in the United Kingdom who are opening a new practice, refurbishing surgeries or extending into more space. We plan the layout, decontamination room and patient flow, design the M&E building services and interiors, and set out the premises requirements of CQC, HTM 01-05 and the Building Regulations, so your builder prices from one coordinated set of drawings.
We are an engineering consultancy founded in Tirana in 2020, with more than 30 projects completed, including Klinike Dentare 2K, a 200 m² clinic in Tirana. Where a UK document must be signed by a locally registered professional, our partner professionals sign it under our brand, or we work with your own. The first consultation is free and we reply within 4 hours.

“I thought the consultation wouldn't be necessary. It turned out to be one of the best investments I made for my new clinic. I believe it is the first step to take when opening a dental clinic. I recommend the consultation, and especially Erion, who was very professional.”
“I didn't think the consultation was necessary, but once it was done it was worth it. 10/10, I recommend it.”
What UK owners ask before opening or refurbishing a dental practice.
It depends on the size and condition of the building, the number of surgeries, how much M&E work is needed and the equipment you choose. Our average project value is around €2M, but we also take on single-surgery refurbishments. We set out the fee for design and planning in writing once we have seen your brief and the premises; the first consultation is free.
Not by law, but the premises have to satisfy several sets of rules at once: HTM 01-05 for decontamination, IRR17 for X-ray rooms, the Building Regulations, Legionella control and what CQC checks at registration in England. A consultant who designs dental practices sees how these affect each other and catches problems on the drawings, where changes cost least.
Allow several months in total. The brief and survey take a few weeks and the design four to six weeks. Then come any planning consent (check the building's lawful use with the local planning authority early; in England, many moves into former shops or offices need none) and Building Regulations approval, followed by the build and equipment installation. Start your CQC registration early so it runs alongside the work rather than delaying opening.
In the UK we work with locally registered partner professionals who sign the legally required documents under our brand. If you already have an agent, architect or engineer you want to use, we can work with them instead, although most of our clients outside Albania prefer to use our partners. Your local authority building control or a registered building control approver then checks the work.
Yes. Briefs, design reviews and most coordination run by video call and shared drawings, starting from a measured survey and photos of the premises. Site visits are scheduled with you at the stages where they matter. Documents that must be signed locally are handled by our UK partner professionals, so you deal with one team.
A first conversation about your premises, how many surgeries you need, your timeline and budget, and which regulations apply. Send drawings or photos beforehand if you have them. We reply within 4 hours, and after the call you receive a written proposal setting out the scope and fee for the design work.
Opening a dental practice involves dozens of small decisions that all affect each other. We have completed more than 30 projects.
CQC, HTM 01-05, IRR17, PSSR and the Building Regulations all affect the premises. We map what applies and prepare the technical documents.
Wrong equipment placement or undersized utilities mean expensive rework. Get it right on the first set of drawings.
Design, engineering and equipment planned together means fewer late changes and less waiting between trades.
